• The ESA Business Incubation Centre in Darmstadt, Germany, was founded in 2007 and is managed by Centrum für Satellitennavigation Hessen (cesah). The ESA Business Incubation Centre offers business start-up support as well as technical expertise in different space related areas, and in particular in satellite navigation, data systems, software systems and navigation test environments.
  • The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is a structural funds of the European Union. The ERDF focuses its investments on the following key priority areas: innovation and research, the digital agenda, support for small and medium-sized enterprises and the low-carbon economy.
  • The FSD Uganda program’s intended outcome is a deeper, broader and more inclusive financial sector in Uganda. It seeks to improve access to financial services for at least 1 million men and women in Uganda through a market development approach. In pursuit of this outcome, the program works simultaneously on inclusion and deepening, helping to increase the breadth of financial services that the poor can access and the extent of credit provided to the private sector, especially smaller businesses.
